CONCLUSION: Pre-operative peak VO2 was associated with physical and subjective recovery following total hip or knee arthroplasty. Daily step count and estimated peak VO2 via the DASI questionnaire had similar moderate associations with post-operative functional outcomes as directly measured pre-operative peak VO2 and may be acceptable alternatives to predict recovery following hip or knee arthroplasty.

CONCLUSIONS: Our study provides insight into the scope and value of resources incurred to implement community-based interventions to reduce opioid overdose deaths across four states.

CONCLUSION: Single draining vein AVMs were more likely to present with rupture, but no significant differences in obliteration rates, functional outcomes, or retreatment rates were found between the groups after adjustment. CONCLUSION: The results of this analysis will inform the decisions of probation departments and their stakeholders, who are interested in implementing an evidence-based behavioral-health screen for youths on probation. CONCLUSION: Participants not interested in follow-up care had high rates of poor functional recovery, persistent symptoms and lower quality-of-life at 12 months following traumatic brain injury with GCS 13-15. Education and provider emphasis on the importance of clinical follow-up after hospital discharge with TBI need to be enhanced.
