Sara K. Schepp, M.D., M.S., is a neurologist who specializes in the care of patients hospitalized with acute neurological and neurosurgical problems. Dr. Schepp has been caring for patients on the neurosurgery acute care service as a neurohospitalist since 2013.
Dr. Schepp earned her M.D. and completed a residency in neurology and fellowships in clinical research and vascular neurology at the University of Washington, Seattle. Prior to her medical training, she worked for seven years as a speech language pathologist. She is board-certified in neurology and vascular neurology.
Dr. Schepp’s clinical interests include identifying and integrating best practices into the care of patients hospitalized with acute neurological and neurosurgical disease. Her research interests include evaluation of swallowing dysfunction after stroke. She strives to give the best care to her patients regardless of their background or ability to pay.
Dr. Schepp enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking in the woods, working in her rose garden and playing with her rescue dogs.
