Mahesh Karandikar, MD, PhD

Mahesh Karandikar
Job Title
Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery
Biography

After my fellowship training, I spent 9 years in private practice.  The practice was approximately 75% spine and 25% cranial neurosurgery.

Clinical Interest

I am interested in engaging patients in tracking their own short term and long term outcomes to the various degenerative spinal procedures, both surgical and non-surgical. We have great interest in collaborating with medical companies to participate in clinical trials.  The focus of these trials is on introducing innovative techniques that may lead to better patient outcomes.
